James Page has been promoted to Agency Director at Proactive International PR following a year in which he played a key role in the consultancy’s successful journey through the business challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
James, whose previous agency experience includes such global brands as M&C Saatchi and Weber Shandwick, joined Proactive shortly before the first nationwide lockdown as Account Director. The consultancy continued its international successes with new client wins in North America and Europe and introduced several “new normal” initiatives to support its client base around the world.
“We are really delighted to appoint James as Agency Director – he quickly established a great relationship with our clients and also with the staff, some of whom even to this day he has only worked with in a remote homeworking capacity,” said Founder and CEO Brian Dolby. “His experience and enthusiasm has been infectious and I am sure that in his new role we will continue to go from strength to strength,” added Dolby.
James, who has a journalism degree from the University of Sheffield, has also worked for 3 Monkeys Communications and Thames Water Utilities. Among his past client portfolio are major brands including Alibaba, Virgin Active and Turkish Airlines.
